Afterwards

Okay, so ... there's a new year ahead.

And I've got all these WIPs and story ideas.


BUT, the end goal here is finishing an original work, and (!!), hopefully publishing it. (Of course this could be years away, if at all, but I'm gonna be positive about it).

Writing fanfiction is a wonderful way to get words out and get feedback, so it's not at all like I think it's a waste of time or anything (the opposite, really). But, at the same time, I don't want to just write fanfiction this year ... I want to try new things, and not stray too far from my main goal (an original novel).


So, the goals for 2020 are:

-Finish "Wedding" (2-ish chapters plus revision)
-Finish "Lake House" (it's nearly done I'm sure) 1st priority?
-Finish "The Journal" (nearly done as well ... I think)

-Start all the fun research for "Frogs" (read, read, read)

-And work on "casefic" here and there, but it isn't priority

Yes. I think that's the plan.
